Save the Dolphin is the first segment in the 1st episode of Wonder Pets! from season 1, both in airing and production order. It is the first episode overall.

Summary

• The dolphin is seen in Save the Wonder Pets!, though the ocean she is seen in during that episode is not the same as the ocean visited in this episode.
• This is the first episode (along with Save the Chimp) produced in 2005. This goes for the rest of season 1 until Save the Owl! in production order.
• This is also the first episode (along with Save the Chimp) to air on television but Save the Penguin and Save the Panda! were the first episodes to be made.
• This, Save the Penguin and Save the Pigeon! were parts of the Save The Day game. The only difference was instead of using the Flyboat, the Wonder Pets used the Fly-Sub which won't be used until Save the Wonder Pets!.
• This is the first episode (along with Save the Chimp) to premiere in 2006.
• When the flyboat does the loop de loop back through the schoolhouse's chimney, the window in the front of the schoolhouse has different decorations on it compared to other episodes. This is the only episode where that occurs.
• This is the first time Linny uses her scuba gear.
  • She'll later use her scuba gear again in Save the Wonder Pets!, Save the Goldfish!, Save the Turtle, Off to School, Save the Loch Ness Monster!, and Save the Rock Lobster!.

• The Wonder Pets come out of the box wearing Hawaiian shirts.
• On the DVD Nickelodeon: Summer Vacation, this episode is paired with Save the Hermit Crab!. On TV, it's paired with Save the Chimp!.

Goofs/Errors

• At the beginning of the episode, when the camera panned to the Schoolhouse, the small illustration of the school on the entrance was missing.
  • This goof will later happen in Save the Unicorn from season 1 and Save the Rooster from season 2.
• When the Wonder Pets jumped into the fabric box, the tiny patterns were lowered down.
• When the Wonder Pets went to build the Flyboat, Linny's cage was missing from the table it's supposed to be on.
• At the beginning of the episode, when the kids say goodbye, Tuck has his shoes on.
  • This goof will later happen in Save the Swan!, Save the Crane, and Save the Elephant!.
    • Also, the little flowers in his cage are gone when he sings his solo in the phone song.
• When Ming-Ming and Tuck hopped in the Flyboat, one of the boosters was missing.
• When the Wonder Pets took off, there was a little glitch with the background behind Ming-Ming.
• When the Wonder Pets fly over Hawaii, the Flyboat's marble is bigger than usual.
• When the Flyboat flew to the cubbyhole, Tuck’s hat was missing.
• When we get a bird's eye view of the Flyboat at the end, the W's blue circle is a little thin, Linny and Ming-Ming switched their places, and the sail is facing the other way.
• When Tuck jumps into his cage, the logo is moving on the sail.
  • This goof also happened in Save the Panda!.
    • This goof also happened on the logo on Linny's cape when she parachuted down to her cage.
