Save the Runaway Egg! is the second segment in the first episode of Wonder Pets: In the City!.

In the farm, when a mama chicken's precious egg rolls away the Wonder Pets offer to help but the Mama chicken insist that Tate can't help because Tate's a snake and she doesn't like snakes!

This is the second episode in the franchise where the Wonder Pets save an egg. With the first being Save the Egg!.
You can say that Mama Chicken was a bit racist toward Tate and snakes. But she spends time with Tate and says that she will never judge another creature for being the creature that they are.
The Wonder Pets will head back to the farm and help the chick born from the egg in Save the Baby Chick!.
This episode reveals that Tate loves hugs, making new friends, going to the beach and green is his favorite color.
The animation of the Jetcar disassembling was a bit different.

Goofs[]

When the Wonder Pets fly out of the schoolhouse, it's missing its vines.
In the beginning of the episode, there are 4 wheels in the basket, but three wheels are on the shelf and one on the shelf.
When Izzy parachutes back into her cage, a second water bottle can be seen behind her cage.
- Also, when she winks at the end, there are woodchips on the top of her cage.
When the Jetcar disassembles, the right side of the wings have three wings instead of two.
Torian Brackett was credited as the teacher even though he wasn't heard in the episode.
